What you may do without asking

• Link to a page on this site that contains the image.
• Quote a small portion of a page and reproduce one image alongside it, with a visible credit and a link back to the source page.
• Share a page on social media using its built-in preview.

What needs written permission

• Reproducing an image in any commercial listing, advertisement or brochure.
• Using an image on another real estate website or agent profile.
• Modifying, cropping or removing a credit or watermark.
• Training a machine-learning model on these images.

Photographs and illustrations

This site publishes two kinds of image, and it is worth being clear about which is which.

Photographs

Taken on location in the community shown. These depict the actual place named in the caption.

Illustrations and architectural renderings

Created to convey the general character of a neighbourhood — the housing styles, streetscapes and setting typical of the area. They are representative rather than documentary: an illustration captioned as Fleetwood shows what that part of Surrey generally looks like, not one specific address. No illustration on this site should be read as a photograph of a particular property, and none is offered as evidence about any listing.
